The DM400A PCI Base Card is a half-length PCI 2.2 compliant card that supports from one to four telephone interfaces for connecting analog telephones or analog lines to a PC.
DM400A cards are high-performance and configurable PCI telephony adapters that provide rich media processing capabilities, each base card can easily be expanded by adding up to four FXO or FXS modules.

The DM400A is fully compatible with today's existing software applications and it can easily be integrated with the Asterisk Open Source PBX/IVR platform. The open source driver supports an API interface for custom application development.

Technical Specifications:

  • Up to 4 FXS, FXO or mixed FXS/FXO ports per card. Each port can be setup as FXO or FXS via plug different module in it.

  • Firmware accelerated I/O access achieves high stability and decreases CPU payload.

  • Highly Scalable, just add additional cards to extend system.

  • International standards. Configurable line interfaces fully compatible with global telephone line interface requirements.

  • No additional power connector is required for the operation of FXS modules.

  • Full PCI 2.2 compliant, compatible with 99.9% of commercially available motherboards with proper interrupt sharing without the need of manual tuning. Support both 3.3 volt and 5 volt PCI slot.

  • 32 bit bus master DMA data exchanges across PCI interface at 132Mbytes/sec for minimum host processor intervention.

  • 100% compatibleAsterisk PBXall features.

  • Power: 800mA peak, operational 300mA max at +3.3v or 5v. Temperature range: 0 - 50C. Autosense compatibility with 5v and 3.3v PCI bus.

  • Power consumption: <=12W (with full 4 port FXS module). <= 2W(with full 4 portFXOmodule).

  • Industry standard half-size length PCI card.
